A newly built 9-storey block of flats with 18 apartments and 45 kW heat loss is heated by 2 EcoAir 420 air-to-water heat pumps, located on the ground floor on the outside wall. 4 electric heating elements are installed in the thermal store as an auxiliary heat source, each of 12 kW output. On the roof, a solar thermal system consisting of 12 KPR11+ solar collectors is installed, designed for DHW heating. After-heating to the desired temperature during periods with lack of sunshine is ensured by the heat pumps.
